About Kate Hua

Kate Hua is 20 years old and a junior at the University of Michigan  studying in Architecture at Taubman School of Architecture. She is currently the Senior Sports Photo Editor for The Michigan Daily. She has always been interested in design, whether it was drawing, or taking photos, and has recently found an interest in film and video design. She enjoys taking photos while traveling around the world with her family and photographing Michigan sports games. Kate got her first camera when she was 9 years old, and took a photography class in high school before joining her school's yearbook her senior year. Kate is hardworking, creative, and organized, and she works well with other people. When Kate’s not in studio or editing photos, you can find her hanging out with her friends or family, reading, exploring new places, or using her creative talents.
